I had planned to whip up some great tutorials for Thanksgiving: lined apron, super-cool wine glass coasters and hand-stamped napkins! And then 4 days I slammed my head into the freezer door and got myself a concussion. So for the last 3 days I am trying to take it easy, rest and not think about my sewing machine. But two of my favorite holidays are being celebrated together – something that will not be happening for another 79000 years! So, I am going to showcase some of my favorite hostess gifts here.
Hand-Stamped Hostess Apron by A Happy Stitch
I love this one and I am so sorry that I missed Melissa’s Class! It is so simplistic but yet so artful, a wonderful gift that truly comes from the heart!
Appliqued Fall Coasters
Those adorable scrap buster coasters are practical and decorative at the same time. You can even make place mats and a table runner to make a fall set!
I am so thrilled I found those beautiful coasters! You could even make a mini memory game out of those.
Hand Stenciled Grocery Tote
Oh, this is nice. I so want to try one and if you are short on time or don’t feel like bothering to sew your own tote, you can buy them at Michaels or A.C. Moore.
Lavender Eye Mask
What a personal touch to a quick gift. Filled with rice and lavender it will cool and sooth any headaches away and smell good!
Simple Skinny Table Runner
I made a similar one for my mother in law and she loves it. If you know the taste of your hostess well, this is a beautiful gift.
How better to carry and hand-over your home-made food than in this awesome carrier. By It’s Taylor Made.
Hand Etched Casserole Dish
If you add this hand etched dish to your casserole carrier, you got yourself a cute personalized Hanukkah or Christmas gift!
Quilted Pot Holders
Pot holders can not be missing in any good hostess gift line up – but those ones are just outstanding.
Wine Tote a.k.a. Booze Bag
This is a nice bag since it can hold up to 4 bottles of wine but can be used for grocery shopping or to hold plastic bags when not on wine duty.
So, I hope you enjoyed this little hostess gift round up – what are you making? Did you make anything yet and wrote about it. Please feel free to link up in the comments!
